Mounted from 19 July 2016 through 15 February 2017, this retrospective brought together 56 paintings spanning more than seven decades of Bud Holman’s career — from early Kansas drawings through Nogales canvases he completed in his eighties. It was the most comprehensive survey of his work ever assembled and the last major exhibition held during his lifetime.

Curator Connie Gibbons organized the works after spending a week at Bud's Nogales Studio in Nogales reviewing paintings and discussig with Bud what paintings, drawings, and sculptures should be in the show. Bud attended the show over the opening weekend.
